Blue Planet Telecom develops and builds an integrated wireless internet system in African countries using the Huawei Wimax Technology, in order that the broadband can be made available to all citizens of the countries at a cost effective price and at acceptable fast speeds.
The penetration of the Wimax is to the whole extent of the countries. The concentration of the broadband outlay of the Wimax technology is in the cities and towns in the initial period but the coverage is also extended to villages and small rural establishments.
The initial coverage of the main cities is based on an extensive penetration to 80% of the metropolis with a special emphasis on internet cafes so that broadband high speed internet is available to the majority of the inhabitants.
The roll out to rest of the country is executed in a period of 3 years or less subject to the consumer demand.
